This might be one of the few times (if not the only time), we are witnessing the AWS re:Invent roll into the 3rd week ! Serverless — AWS continues to double-down on Serverless by issuing per-millisecond billing on usage of AWS Lambda (instead of 100ms!). Continuing on Lambda — Container image (that too upto 10 GB!!) support for Lambda functions. Big for Container tooling Talking of containers — ECS and EKS Anywhere will now enable us to deploy on-prem too. Truly supporting hybrid-computing. Not leaving Server computing behind — new gp3 volumes with EBS (increasing IOPS without having to provision more block storage) and new EC2 Mac instances to support MacOS on EC2 (not much of Mac person myself)
